Position Overview We are seeking Board-Certified Anesthesiologists for ongoing locum tenens assignments. This opportunity offers flexible full-time or PRN scheduling with 8-hour or 10-hour shifts in an outpatient surgery setting. Assignment Details

- Practice Setting: Outpatient Surgery Center
• Patient Population: Adults only (
No Pediatrics)
- Case Types: Primarily Urology/Genitourinary (approximately 99% of cases) with occasional Gastroenterology (GI) and Endoscopy procedures
- Charting System: iPro and Paper
- Operating Rooms: 3–5 Anesthesia Rooms
- Care
Model: Both independent cases and medical direction of CRNAs
- CRNA Supervision Ratio: 1:3 to 1:4 MD-to-CRNA
- Overtime: Rare Responsibilities
- Assist in directing and coordinating activities within the Anesthesia Department.
- Provide medical management for patients undergoing anesthesia during surgical and medical procedures.
- Perform comprehensive pre-anesthesia assessments.
- Obtain and/or verify informed patient consent.
- Discuss anesthetic options and associated risks with patients.
- Manage the induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.
- Continuously monitor patients' physiological status throughout procedures.
- Perform clinical interventions as needed to ensure patient safety.
Qualifications
Education & Training
- M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited College of Medicine
- Successful completion of an approved Anesthesiology Residency Program Certifications & Licensure
• Board Certified in Anesthesiology (Required)
- Current unrestricted Physician License (Required)
- ECFMG and FLEX certification, if applicable Additional Requirements
- Active, unrestricted state medical license required at the time of application
- Candidates requiring state licensure will not be considered
- Willingness to obtain emergency privileges
