Part-Time Medical Director — Anesthesia Services Organization (Florida) Multi-state anesthesia services organization seeks a Florida-licensed physician to serve as Medical Director for its Florida operating entity. Part-time engagement; remote-friendly with periodic on-site availability. Duties Serve as the appointed Medical Director of record with AHCA and accept in writing the statutory responsibilities of the role Provide day-to-day clinical oversight of the entity's Florida operations Verify that all clinicians providing services hold current, active, unencumbered Florida licenses and certifications appropriate to the level of care provided Review agreements executed by the entity Oversee compliance with recordkeeping, office surgery, and adverse incident reporting requirements Support AHCA licensure filings, surveys, and correspondence as needed

Qualifications

Active, unencumbered Florida MD or DO license (required) Board certification in anesthesiology preferred Familiarity with the Health Care Clinic Act, AHCA survey process No history of license discipline or Medicare/Medicaid exclusion Terms Independent contractor Compensation negotiable, commensurate with experience Professional liability coverage for medical director duties provided
