  • Position: Locum Tenens Anesthesiologist – General
  • Location: Duluth, Minnesota
  • Assignment Length: 13 weeks, with ongoing anesthesia coverage needs

• Start Date: ASAP

  • Schedule: Flexible 8-10 hour shifts with day coverage and call options
  • Coverage Needs: Full-week coverage available 1-2 times per month or 40+ hours per week

  • Case Mix: Broad anesthesia practice including cardiac, ortho, vascular, spine, neuro, OB, pediatric, regional, thoracic, and pain-related procedures Job Requirements

Board certified or board eligible in Anesthesiology


  • At least 1 year of anesthesiology experience required
  • Active physician license and ability to complete credentialing
  • ACLS, BLS, and PALS required
  • Experience with general, spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia
  • Comfort with a wide range of adult, pediatric, neonatal, trauma, OB, neuro, cardiac, thoracic, and vascular cases
  • Experience with line placement, ventilation management, and acute hemodynamic management
  • Strong clinical judgment and collaborative approach to team-based anesthesia care
  • Manage airway, ventilation, and hemodynamic stability throughout the perioperative period
  • Place central lines, arterial lines, and PA catheters as clinically indicated
  • Support post-op pain management techniques, including epidurals and blocks
  • Collaborate closely with CRNAs, anesthesia assistants, and surgical teams
  • Contribute to efficient OR flow while maintaining high standards of patient care
