$480K Annual w $100K sign on -8 OR Ortho ASC, Care Model, Joints, spine all other ortho, robust Regional Pain Program, no call, M-F Specialists' One-Day Surgery Center (SODS) is a locally owned, state of the art orthopedic ambulatory surgery center in Syracuse, NY that provides a range of procedures including knee arthroscopy, lumbar and cervical injections, carpal tunnel release, shoulder arthroscopy, rotator cuff repair and joint replacement. SODS offers a collegial, team-oriented environment and a quick/streamlined credentialing process. Work Schedule
- Weekdays only, Monday-Friday, 10-hour shifts.
• No weekends or call required
- Staff members work in a care-team model. Responsibilities
- Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department
- Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures
- Pre-anesthesia assessment
- Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
- Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
- Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
- Performance of clinical intervention as needed Requirements
- M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine
- Completion of approved residency in anesthesia

• Base Salary: $400,000 – $475,000
