Anesthesiologist Locums Opportunity – Richmond, VA

• Malpractice insurance fully covered We are seeking a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist for a 12-week locums assignment in Richmond, Virginia. This is a high-volume hospital-based opportunity with strong orthopedic exposure and flexible scheduling options.
Practice Details:
- General and Orthopedic cases
- MD-supervised care team model (approximately 1:4 ratio)
- Physicians are not performing independent cases
- 22 anesthesia locations
- iPro charting system
Schedule:
- 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts preferred
- In-house call opportunities available
- No pager call required
• No holiday coverage required
- Overtime not expected but additional shifts may be available Additional Details:
- Emergency privileges available (under 30 days)
- Standard credentialing timeframe approximately 90 days
- Open to candidates needing Virginia licensure
• Travel assistance, lodging support, and malpractice coverage included
Requirements:
• ABA Board Certified Anesthesiologist
- Completion of accredited Anesthesia Residency
- Comfortable supervising CRNAs in a care team model
