Anesthesiologist Locums Opportunity – Richmond, VA (1-Week Summer Coverage)

• Malpractice insurance fully covered We are seeking a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist for a strict 1-week vacation coverage assignment in Richmond, Virginia. Candidates must be fully available for the specified dates: June 8, 2026 – June 12, 2026 only. No exceptions.

Practice Details:

• General, Neuro, Ortho, OB, and Pediatric cases
• MD-supervised care team model (approximately 1:4 ratio)
• Physicians also perform their own cases
• Epic EMR
• 30 anesthesia locations
• High-volume hospital environment

Schedule:

• 8-hour shifts required
• 10-hour shifts preferred
• Day shift coverage only

• No call required

• No overtime expected Additional Details:
• 1-week assignment (firm dates only: 6/8/26–6/12/26)
• Approximately 60-day credentialing timeframe
• Possible accelerated privileges available

• Travel assistance, lodging support, and malpractice coverage included

Requirements:

• ABA Board Certified Anesthesiologist

• Active U.S. medical license required (Virginia not required if already licensed elsewhere, per facility policy)
• Completion of accredited Anesthesia Residency
