Due to service line expansion and new OR openings, we are growing our physician-led team.
This position spans two premier, closely connected north-side locations: Ascension St. Vincent Hospital (86th Street, Indianapolis) and the St. Vincent Heart Center of Indiana (105th & Meridian, Carmel). Compensation: Financials: $620K+ Base Salary + Quality Bonus (QA).
Incentives: Sign-on bonus, relocation allowance, and student loan forgiveness/stipends available. Time Off: 9 Weeks Total (8 weeks PTO + 1 week/40 hours CME) + 8 paid holidays. Lifestyle Balance: Call is taken from home with a guaranteed post-call day off.

Physician-Only
Model: Our team consists of 11 cardiac anesthesiologists who personally perform all cases (0 CRNAs). Robust
Volume: Exceeding 1,300 open-heart cases per year across our two specialized facilities. Clinical Variety: Comprehensive coverage across cardiac, thoracic, and EP services.
Case mix
includes: A broad range of valve cases, major aortic cases (dissections, aneurysms/arch, TEVARs), structural heart (Watchman, TAVR, MitraClip, TTVR), CABG, robotic thoracic, and a busy EP service. Requirements: Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Anesthesiology. Cardiac Fellowship training is required. Advanced TEE certification is required (preferred candidates are testamurs of the NBE/APTE exam).
