Sacred Heart Bay is a level II trauma center with approximately 250 heart cases each year. Cardiac Anesthesia includes CABG, TAVR, Watchman, Mitral Clips, both open and minimally invasive plus Cath lab, EP, interventional, and structural. Non-cardiac cases include general, trauma, neuro, spine, ortho, ENT, Gyn, Uro, plastics, Endo, lap choles, appendectomies, hernia, colon/GI, joint replacements, etc. No OB.
Qualifications:
Leadership experience preferred, or must have leadership qualities. Completion of a US Residency. Board certification in Anesthesia.
Fellowship not required. Active FL license or able to obtain. Authorized to work in the United States.
Scheduling: Rotate with 4 other CV-capable physicians + 1 Main OR non-call physician. A day, non-call taking physician will cover Monday through Friday to have more hands on during the day. Early release PRE-call day and guaranteed post call off day!

Collaborate on policies and best practices related to anesthesia care, airway management, and perioperative safety. Focus on caring for complex cases in a busy collaborative care team environment. Partner with a Main OR Anesthesiologist and a team of experienced CRNAs.
