JOB DESCRIPTION
ABOUT THE FACILITY
- A modern Level II trauma hospital is seeking a cardiac anesthesiologist for a six-month locum assignment. The physician will support an established cardiovascular program in a state-of-the-art hospital environment and must be able to manage cases independently.
ABOUT THE FACILITY LOCATION
- Silver Spring is located just outside Washington, D.C., with convenient access to the National Mall, Smithsonian museums, Georgetown, Rock Creek Park and three major regional airports.
ABOUT THE CLINICIAN'S WORKDAY
- The anesthesiologist will work either five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts and independently manage open-heart and structural-heart anesthesia. The physician must be comfortable working solo and using advanced perioperative echocardiography.
