Practice Highlights

Independent CRNA practice Multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center Two CRNAs scheduled each day Monday–Thursday: Ophthalmology Friday: Urology No eye blocks (performed by the surgeons) No inhaled anesthetic gases used Efficient outpatient workflow Case Mix Approximately 90% Ophthalmology Approximately 85% Cataracts Glaucoma procedures Approximately 10% Urology Average daily volume: 16–18 cases Peak volume: Approximately 22 cases Urology procedures average 10–15 minutes CRNAs rotate between two operating rooms Responsibilities Administer anesthesia for outpatient ophthalmology and urology procedures. Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and develop individualized anesthesia care plans. Monitor patients throughout the perioperative process.

Collaborate with surgeons and nursing staff to provide exceptional patient care. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Qualifications

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) with Florida licensure or eligibility. Ambulatory surgery center experience preferred. Comfortable practicing independently.

Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills. Scheduling Monday through Friday Typical 8–10 hour workdays Flexible affiliate schedule Predictable outpatient environment
