Job Details: Provide anesthesiology coverage at two hospital sites in the Richmond, VA area Ongoing locums coverage opportunity Inpatient hospital practice setting Preferred schedule of 7 days on and 7 days off Adult patient population In-house call required from 6:00 PM to 7:00 AM Weekend shifts are in-house with extended hours available (6:00 PM to 7:00 AM and 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Saturday and Sunday) Support staff includes CRNAs with a typical 1:4 care team model Physicians perform their own cases approximately 40% of the time MD shifts are 8 hours unless otherwise stated Charting via iPad-based EMR system Degree from an accredited residency program required Must be board certified and participating in MOC DEA/CSR required Current state medical license or ability to obtain licensure required

Facility: This facility is a 500-bed hospital offering a full range of medical services, including one of the best cardiac facilities in Central Virginia and a dedicated mental health and wellness facility. The hospital is a Level I Trauma Center with multiple operating rooms across several floors. Anesthesia services are provided across a broad range of settings including endoscopy, electrophysiology labs, interventional radiology, MRI, and obstetrics.
