EMR: Meditech 90% directing and 10% own cases. We have anesthesia residents so they will have ability to teach residents. There’s a doc always in-house which is a “shift” not call because of trauma.

  • Is the locums need short or long term?: long term (6+ months) Available shifts include: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM Day, evening, and night shifts available There is always an anesthesiologist in-house due to the trauma program. This is considered a scheduled shift rather than call. Anesthetists take beeper call from home. Practice Model / Staffing Supervision / medical direction model Approximately 90% directing and 10% personally performed cases 14 physicians and 25 APCs Anesthesiology residents are part of the program and perform cases Opportunity to teach anesthesia residents Separate heart team Facility Overview 369 licensed beds 12,598 annual cases Comprehensive Stroke Center Level I trauma program Level II pediatric trauma Ranked among the #2 or #3 top trauma locations in the state More than 3,000 trauma activations reported in 2019 New operating rooms added in Spring 2022 Anesthesia Locations There are 12 anesthesia locations: 8 Main ORs 2 Endoscopy rooms 1 Interventional Radiology room 1 OB unit Case Mix Case types include: General Level I trauma Level II pediatric trauma Pediatrics, approximately 458 cases per year Endoscopy Orthopedics Vascular OB, approximately 925 cases per year Cardiac, approximately 700 cases per year Weekend Coverage Weekends typically have 2 rooms open for elective and emergent cases.
