Long-Term Assignment A well-established hospital system in Texas is seeking a Board-Certified Cardiac Anesthesiologist for a long-term locum tenens assignment. This opportunity offers competitive compensation, a consistent weekday schedule, and no call or weekend responsibilities. The physician will work primarily at a major acute-care hospital, with occasional cross-coverage at affiliated facilities with advance notice.
Position Highlights:
Start Date: ASAP upon credentialing
Credentialing: Approximately 45–60 days; temporary privileges will be requested
Contract Length: 6–12 months, with a one-year commitment preferred
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Shifts: 5×10-hour shifts
Call: None
Weekends: None
Compensation: Competitive compensation package
Practice Model: Independent physician practice; solo cases with no supervision responsibilities
Case Mix: Cardiac procedures, Cath lab procedures, AFib procedures, TEEs, and ICD implants.
