Facility: Golisano Children's Hospital -- NY's only freestanding children's hospital

• ORs: 13 total; Maple Gate covers 5 daily.
• Trauma: Pediatric level I trauma center •

Cases: Full pediatric surgical mix (no transplants) The hospital is a women's and children's center, allowing physicians to customize their practice:

• 100% Pediatrics
• Pediatrics + Adults
• Pediatrics + OB
• Adult rotations available within the health system if desired SCHEDULE AND CALL STRUCTURE:

Start: 7:30 AM

• Typical end: Around 5:00 PM (earlier if cases finish) •

Call: ~60 calls per year included in base, averages around 1:6.

• Post-call day off (protected)

• Additional calls paid separately o Premium holdover pay: If not on call and cases extend beyond 4:00 PM, physicians are paid $375 per hour for all extra time worked.
