PRACTICE MODEL:

• Care team model (not independent practice)
• CRNAs are exposed to: o Cardiac o Neuro o Pediatrics o High-acuity cases
• No transplant program
• Limited regional anesthesia due to academic programs
• Teaching environment with University at Buffalo residents and SRNAs LOCATIONS COVERED: CRNAs rotate through:
• Buffalo General Medical Center
• Gates Vascular Institute
• Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital
• Golisano Children's Hospital Some CRNAs may be primarily assigned to pediatrics, but 100% pediatric roles are reserved for physicians. CRNA

SCHEDULE:

• OR

Start: 7:30 AM (arrive 7:00 AM)

• 40-hour base work week

• Shift options include: o 3x12 o 4x10 o 5x8 o Mixed models

• CRNAs can choose their shift type but must be flexible on which days they work.
• Saturday requirement: o One Saturday every four weeks, paid for an overtime rate (can be traded with peers).
