Position Highlights

PRN scheduling structure Typical clinic hours: 7:30 AM -- 5:00 PM Schedules released 1--3 months in advance Rotating between multiple clinic sites throughout San Antonio Saturday coverage occasionally needed Required shadow/orientation day (~3 hours, unpaid) Clinical Environment Supporting approximately 15 oral surgeons/providers 20+ cases daily Average case duration: ~15 minutes Wisdom teeth extractions only IV deep sedation and moderate sedation Patient Population Ages 13--69 Majority of patients between ages 16--26 Mostly ASA I & II Rare ASA III patients No pediatric cases BMI over 40 requires approval/consult review Workflow & Support Paper charting/documentation Standardized equipment and monitoring across sites Controlled substances managed onsite by physician, surgery manager, and CRNA Surgery managers directly coordinate scheduling with CRNAs Travel & Logistics Lodging available if needed Preference for local providers when possible Mileage/rental reimbursement available for providers traveling over 2 hours at federal reimbursement rates
