Schedule: 40 hours/week. Work-Life Balance Responsibilities
- Administer and manage general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care for surgical, obstetric, and pediatric patients
- Perform pre-anesthetic assessments (medical history, airway evaluation, risk stratification) and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the supervising Anesthesiologist
- Monitor patients continuously throughout procedures, adjusting anesthesia and hemodynamic support as needed
- Manage airway, ventilation, and emergency resuscitation
- Provide post-anesthesia recovery care, pain management, and discharge planning
- Participate in daily rounds and case discussions with the multidisciplinary anesthesia and surgical/OB teams
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program; Master's or Doctoral degree in Nurse Anesthesia
- Current NBCRNA certification
- Current NJ RN license and APN certification (Anesthesia specialty)
- Current CDS and DEA registration
- BLS, ACLS, PALS certification (AHA-approved)
- Ability to practice under NJ's Joint Protocol in collaboration with a supervising Anesthesiologist
