About the Practice: A well-established private anesthesia group in the Brooklyn area near New York City is seeking a dedicated and skilled Anesthesiologist to join their team. No administrative duties. Our practice is committed to providing exceptional anesthesia services for a focused range of ophthalmology and gastrointestinal (GI) procedures in a collegial and efficient environment.

Opportunity: We have an immediate full-time Anesthesiologist job opening specializing in ophthalmology and GI cases. This is a Monday-Friday position offering an excellent work-life balance with no call, no nights, or weekends. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable and reputable group in a prime Brooklyn location.



Responsibilities: Provide and manage anesthesia for a variety of ophthalmology and gastrointestinal (GI) procedures. Conduct thorough pre-anesthesia patient evaluations and develop individualized anesthetic plans. Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care utilizing current techniques and medications.


Continuously monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthetic delivery to ensure patient safety and optimal surgical conditions. Manage emergence from anesthesia and provide appropriate post-anesthesia care. Maintain accurate and complete patient records in accordance with practice policies and procedures.


Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to all safety protocols.



Qualifications: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree. Board certification in Anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) or the American Osteopathic Board of Anesthesiology 1 (AOBA) or board-eligible. Current unrestricted medical license in New York State (or eligibility for licensure).


Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Strong clinical skills and the ability to manage anesthesia for ophthalmology and GI cases. Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
