practice model: 60% solo or 40% supervised medical direction with an ideal 1:3 ratio and occasional 1:2 coverage. Wide variety of cases, including: General Surgery Ortho OB ENT Urology GI Neuro Vascular Do not handle major trauma, transplant or cardiac cases (these cases are handled by a separate team) Ball Memorial Hospital is a regional referral center with a full spectrum of surgical services.
