About the Practice: A well-established and highly respected private anesthesia group in the desirable Florham Park, New Jersey area is seeking skilled and dedicated Cardiac Anesthesiologists for both full-time and part-time positions. Opportunity: There are immediate full-time and part-time Cardiac Anesthesiologist job openings for a wide variety of cases including Cardiac, OB, pediatrics, vascular, orthopedics, regional anesthesia, and outpatient surgery. No cardiac, trauma, or transplant cases are involved. Regional anesthesia skills are a significant plus.
The call schedule includes one day per week (with a post-call day off) and one weekend per month. Applications from graduating cardiac fellows are enthusiastically welcomed. A partnership track is available after three (3) years.
Responsibilities: Provide and manage anesthesia for a diverse range of surgical and obstetrical procedures. Conduct thorough pre-anesthesia patient evaluations and develop individualized anesthetic plans. Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care utilizing current techniques and medications.
Continuously monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthetic delivery to ensure patient safety and optimal surgical conditions. Manage emergence from anesthesia and provide appropriate post-anesthesia care. For call positions: Participate in a call schedule of 1x per week (with post-call day off) and one (1) weekend per month.
Maintain accurate and complete patient records in accordance with practice policies and procedures. Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to all safety protocols.
Qualifications: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree. Board certification in Anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) or the American Osteopathic Board of Anesthesiology 1 (AOBA) or board-eligible. Current unrestricted medical license in New Jersey (or eligibility for licensure).
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Strong clinical skills and the ability to manage a diverse patient population and case mix. Proficiency in a variety of anesthetic techniques, including general and regional anesthesia (regional skills a plus).
Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Effective communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills. A commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.

Compensation and
