DCH Health System is seeking Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Anesthesiologists to join our growing anesthesia team at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Our surgical programs include:
- Cardiothoracic Surgery (2 Thoracic Surgeons, 1 Cardiac Surgeon)
- Vascular Surgery (2 Surgeons)
- Neurosurgery (3 Neurosurgeons)
- Level II Trauma Center
- General Surgery
- Regional Anesthesia
- Obstetrics
- Pediatric dental rehabilitation, bone marrow transplant procedures, and tonsillectomies The anesthesia care team model consists of approximately:
- 80% Medical Direction
- 20% Medical Supervision Our current team includes:
- 5 Full-Time Anesthesiologists
- 24 Full-Time CRNAs Call Schedule
- No 24-hour call requirements
- Dedicated Night Float System (Saturday through Friday; 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
- Following completion of a night-float week, physicians receive a dedicated week off for recovery
Qualifications
• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Anesthesiology
- No fellowship training required
- Open to both new graduates and experienced anesthesiologists Time Off
• 16 Total Weeks Off Annually (8 weeks PTO and 8 weeks post-night-float recovery time) Compensation & Benefits
• Base Salary: $600,000
- Incentive
Compensation: $35,000
• Additional earning potential exceeding $700,000 annually through in-house locum opportunities
