We are seeking a Physician Anesthesiologist to support a high-volume hospital in Erie, Pennsylvania. This role involves providing anesthesia services across a broad surgical case mix, including cardiac, thoracic, vascular, orthopedic, general, OB/GYN, neuro, ophthalmology, and urology procedures. The position requires supervision of CRNAs within a medically directed model and participation in beeper call coverage.

The provider will work in a 316-bed acute care hospital and affiliated outpatient locations, ensuring high-quality patient care in a collaborative environment. Top 5 Skills Required Cardiac anesthesia expertise, including open-heart procedures Proficiency in anesthesia for a diverse surgical caseload Ability to supervise CRNAs in a medically directed model Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills Flexibility to participate in call coverage and work on consecutive weeks or full-time schedule Credentials and Qualifications Active Pennsylvania medical license (preferred) Board Certified in Anesthesiology (BC) or Board Eligible Valid PA medical license for practice Cardiac anesthesia certification or experience Proficiency in obstetric and pediatric anesthesia Experience Required Prior anesthesia practice supporting high-volume surgical centers Demonstrated experience supervising CRNAs in a medically directed model Experience in performing cardiac, ophthalmology, urology, and general surgeries Comfortable participating in call coverage, including second-call shifts Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
