Anesthesia OnCall is seeking experienced CAAs for a Clinical Preceptor locums opportunity in the Nashville market. This role combines clinical anesthesia practice with mentorship of CAA students within a structured training program.

Practice

Overview: Medical Direction model High-acuity, large practice environment (80+ ORs) Broad case mix including neuro, spine, thoracic, vascular, ortho, plastics, OB/GYN, general surgery, and healthy pediatrics Dedicated support for cardiac cases No block OR assignments EMR: Meditech / Medaxion Precepting Model: 1:1 student-to-provider ratio Structured, multi-semester curriculum Progressive increase in student responsibility Consistent clinical assignment to support teaching continuity

Requirements: 3--4+ years CAA experience required (prior teaching/precepting preferred) Graduate of accredited CAA program Eligible for Tennessee licensure Must meet hospital credentialing requirements Must reside outside a 60-mile radius of the practice site (verified during onboarding) Assignment Details: Start: ASAP after credentialing (~90 days) Duration: 6 months
