Commonwealth Anesthesia Associates (CAA), a private practice anesthesiology group at Newton-Wellesley Hospital, is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible anesthesiologist to join our collegial and highly regarded team at Newton-Wellesley Hospital, a Mass General Brigham affiliate located just outside of Boston. I have an amazing team of multidisciplinary colleagues at the pain clinic, I have helped lead new clinical initiatives such as the spine service line, I attended harvard business school with NWH leaders, I became president of a national pain organization and collaborate with colleagues all over the US, I have published opinion editorials and research papers in major journals and media platforms, I partner with our district attorney around opioid overdose prevention and treatment, I represent NWH on MGB initiatives around pain and addiction, I serve on the NWH executive committee representing our department, I launched our first NWH addiction service with an amazing ID and addictions colleague, and on top of all of this, I have an incredible team of excellent colleagues who take amazing care of our perioperative, obstetric, and chronic pain patients... Dream job!!

I suppose what I am trying to share is not how much I do, but rather that CAA has been essential to helping me find my happy place in my career. Whatever I have wanted to accomplish, our team and leadership have been behind me. And the same is true for all my colleagues whatever their clinical or other interests might be.
