Inductience is the largest clinician founded, owned and operated anesthesiology services organization in New England offering independently contracting anesthesia clinicians opportunities to work flexible schedules at multiple Connecticut health care facilities. Having been in clinical practice for decades, we understand the perspectives, interests and concerns of other clinicians in a way no "big box" locums company ever will. We have over 60 clinicians providing services at over 25 hospital and ambulatory facilities in CT, MA, NH and NY. We currently have needs for anesthesiologists to work weekday, no-call shifts at two hospitals.

We strongly prefer clinicians who can offer availability at least 3 weekdays per week on a flexible but at least somewhat regular basis. Clinicians can credential at one or both hospital sites (Meriden, Hartford) Essential clinician attributes at least include clinical excellence, consummate professionalism, high reliability, good communication skills and a commitment to a teamwork oriented approach to providing patient care.

Compensation: Minimum daily rate is based on an 8.5 hour weekday shift. Maximum daily rate is based on a 10 hour weekday shift, both at $340/hour. Rates include provision of medical malpractice insurance with tail coverage.

Clinicians carrying their own insurance earn an additional $10 hour. We have long term engagements with most of our clients as a result of service satisfaction. While no clinician is required to provide any particular period of commitment, most stay with us over extended time periods as a result of high levels of professional satisfaction.

This makes Inductience an attractive option for the clinician wishing to transition away from the confines of W-2 employment, but retain a substantial degree of employment security.
