We are looking for the next generation to join our established group of seasoned physicians to take the helm and move us forward with providing quality patient care. You will step into a practice that will provide a wonderful work-life balance with this FT/PT position, that offers NO holidays, weekends, or call obligations. This group is located in Lafayette, IN Unity Healthcare employs 50+ providers across multiple specialties to provide care to the patients in Lafayette, Indiana.


In preparation for the retirement of one of our providers, we are actively recruiting a placement to join this group. This is a traditional 100% outpatient surgery center practice with the opportunity to do complex cases at the local affiliated hospital. Majority of cases are performed M-F 7:00am - 4:00pm.


Most cases will require MAC or general anesthesia; basic blocks requested include interscalene, popliteal and IVRA. Multiple surgical specialties are covered including a large general surgery and endoscopy practice. No hospital privileges required unless the physician wishes to work at the hospital to assist with complex cases.


Average daily cases 1-15/day; 25-45 each week. Access to radiology and lab services provided on site at the MOB. SSI EHR system.


Locally owned and managed group of physicians in which decision making is made by your peers. Leadership opportunities are also available. Unity Surgical Center is a joint venture with Franciscan Health Lafayette, with Unity holding majority ownership.


The compensation package is competitive especially considering it is strictly M-F, starting consideration of $500,000+; eligible for partnership and buy-in to ASC, consideration after two years. Requirements: Successful completion of USA residency training in Anesthesiology; BC/BE Anesthesiologist by ABA; experience is highly desired although new grads are strongly encouraged to apply License to practice medicine in the state of Indiana or the ability to become licensed prior to starting.
