Guide Anesthesia is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologist to join our exclusive practice at St. Mary's Hospital in Tucson, Arizona. Providers deliver care through a flexible anesthesia model that includes both direct anesthesia services and collaborative medical direction based on patient acuity and clinical needs.
Case Mix:
- Vascular Surgery
- Orthopedics
- General Surgery
- Bariatric/Obesity Surgery
- Urology
- Cardiac Cases
- Occasional Neuro Interventional Radiology coverage at Saint Joseph's Hospital Clinical
Requirements:
- Comfortable with regional anesthesia techniques
- Pediatric anesthesia experience required
- Ability to manage higher-acuity hospital-based cases
- Experience with complex surgical procedures strongly preferred
Responsibilities:
- Provide anesthesia services for a broad range of inpatient and outpatient surgical procedures.
- Perform comprehensive pre-anesthesia evaluations and develop individualized anesthesia plans.
- Deliver direct anesthesia care for complex and high-acuity cases.
- Collaborate with CRNAs, surgeons, nursing staff, and hospital leadership.
- Participate in regional anesthesia services and perioperative patient management.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO with successful completion of an accredited Anesthesiology residency.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology.
- Eligible for Arizona medical licensure.
- Experienced physician preferred.
- Regional anesthesia proficiency required.
- Pediatric anesthesia experience required.

Summary: 1099 Independent Contractor Primary:
• $360/hour Alternative Schedule Option:
• Approximately $410,000 for a 26-week rotation
• 2 Weeks On / 2 Weeks Off schedule available Compensation is based on on-site time, not case volume.
Scheduling:
- 46 weeks per year
- 4--5 days per week
• 2 Weeks On / 2 Weeks Off option available
- Hospital and ASC coverage
- Call approximately 1 night per week
