The Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine is seeking a faculty member at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor level to join our growing team of general anesthesiologists. The successful candidate must be committed to excellence in clinical care, teaching activities, and professional development. This position is for anesthesiologists who enjoy practicing independently and prefer running their own rooms.

Faculty maintain a high degree of clinical autonomy and are able to focus on direct patient care in a collaborative and collegial environment. Occasionally, you may be asked to cover 2-3 rooms medically directing CRNAs and/or residents in the afternoon. Importantly, all call opportunities --- including nights, weekends, and holidays --- are entirely voluntary.

There is no mandatory call requirement associated with this position, providing exceptional flexibility and work-life balance for faculty seeking greater control over their schedules.
