Children's Wisconsin (CW), in parntership with the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) is seeking CAA's (Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant). In the MCW/Children's Wisconsin partnership, there's no greater priority than the care of our kids. The Medical College of Wisconsin is an academic partner to Children's Wisconsin, the region's only independent healthcare system dedicated solely to the health and well-being of children.

This free-standing 306-bed children's hospital ranks as one of the top children's hospitals in the United States. We are actively seeking Certified Anesthesiologist Assistants to join the Pediatric Anesthesiology Division. At Children's Wisconsin, anesthesia care is provided using a team model that includes involving faculty anesthesiologists providing direct care and medical direction of anesthesiology fellows, residents, and advanced practice providers including certified nurse anesthetists (CRNA) and certified anesthesiologist assistants (CAA).

Anesthesia services are provided at the main hospital, its pediatric Ambulatory Surgery Center, and at other satellite locations, to a full range of healthy and critically ill neonatal and pediatric patients, including adults with persistent pediatric problems. Applicants should expect that exposure to different care environments will be dependent on patient care needs and the capabilities of members of the care team, with patient safety and experience as the primary considerations. Initial assignments will be structured and supported with emphasis on development of professional skills in the CW environment, especially for those without prior pediatric experience.
