Schedule: Flexible Scheduling with 24, 12, 10, and 8 hr shifts Position
Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) to join our anesthesia care team. Under the supervision of an anesthesiologist, the CAA will provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical and diagnostic procedures.
Key
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of anesthesia care as directed by a licensed anesthesiologist.
- Perform patient assessments, including medical history review and physical evaluation.
- Establish and manage venous and arterial access.
- Initiate and manage general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care.
- Continuously monitor and interpret patient vital signs and anesthesia depth.
- Adjust anesthetic levels under physician direction based on patient status and surgical needs.
- Perform airway management, including intubation and ventilator management.
- Participate in post-anesthesia patient care and handoff processes.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate and completed in a timely manner.

Requirements: Qualifications:
- Graduate of a CAA educational program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP).
- Certification by the National Commission for Certification of Anesthesiologist Assistants (NCCAA).
- Active and unrestricted CAA license in the state of [State Name] (or eligibility to obtain).
- Current BLS and ACLS certification (PALS may be required depending on case mix).
- Excellent interpersonal, critical thinking, and communication skills.
