Historic Howard University Hospital located in an attractive DC location, affords opportunities for both routine hospital-based anesthesia practice and low volume obstetric and trauma practices. Multiple employment packages are available based on a total of 48 hours per week of primary coverage.

Each package also includes some secondary backup coverage. Packages based on 12-hour shifts, 24-hour shifts and a split between the two are available for maximum lifestyle flexibility. Please call to discuss the details of each option.

Each option comes with 7 weeks of vacation (six weeks plus 1 week of sick/personal time), full benefit packages including Health, Dental, Vision, Group Life Insurance, Long-Term Disability, Malpractice and 401k with 5% employer contribution. Daytime work will be split between MD only and a care team model typically with 3:1 supervision. Moonlighting opportunities may be available for those who wish to increase their income above the base salary.
