Come join our amazing Anesthesiology practice in Downey, California General Anesthesiology Opportunity Sign On Bonus: $200,000 Kaiser Permanente - Southern California Permanente Medical Group (SCPMG) Department of Anesthesiology comprises a physician-led Anesthesiology team consisting of pediatric, cardiac, and regional fellowship-trained members, alongside CRNAs and a complement of Per Diems. Our Anesthesiologists cover the main hospital (Downey Medical Center), Bellflower Outpatient Surgery Center, and Garden Outpatient Surgery Center (all within 1 mile of each other), with a total surgical volume of 20,000 cases/year. Our case mix includes general surgery, orthopedics, gynecology, plastics, urology, ENT, OB, and healthy pediatrics; no trauma, neuro, or cardiac.
A variety of shift opportunities include CRNA supervision, in-room care, pre-op clinic, anesthesiology consults, and PACU, while L&D are anesthesiologists only. Our practice primarily involves bread and butter anesthesiology, but can provide challenging subspecialty cases. We have dedicated teams in pediatric anesthesiology, acute pain, and chronic pain for advanced cases.
Centrally located between Los Angeles County and Orange County, our partners live anywhere from South Pasadena to Manhattan Beach to Newport Beach. Our Anesthesiology Department has a social committee, and collegiality extends outside of work as our physicians get together for dinners, birthday parties, and weddings.
