Charter Anesthesiology is a small physician-owned practice that provides services at a community hospital, 6 ASCs, and gynecology office locations in central and southern CT. Our team consists of about 15 MDs and 15 CRNAs, and we train SRNAs, medical students, and a regional anesthesiology fellow. Most of our cases are performed with a care team model, with solo MD practice at smaller sites. We have opportunities for regional, outpatient pedi, and chronic pain, and we're one of the few places where a generalist can maintain a varied practice and use all of their skills.

We are supported by solid preop and admin teams who greatly assist in credentialing and patient preparation so our focus can remain clinical. We have been rotating some of our MDs to a level 1 trauma center in Hawaii since 2018. While on island, we stay in our company apartment with beautiful views, use the company car, and enjoy easy logistics in and out.

The experience provides exposure to higher-acuity cases, and helps reset our minds and spirits with Aloha and off days spent on the beaches or hiking. We would love to add a couple of strong MDs to our team, and are open to partner-track, call-taking, non-call, and nocturnist arrangements. Solid clinical skills, flexibility, and excellent customer service are strongly preferred.

Participation in the Hawaii rotation is optional. We offer competitive pay and welcome new partners. Notably, there is no decrease in pay on partner track.

We would welcome MDs living in desirable Fairfield County, near New Haven, or near Springfield MA, who may prefer preferential assignments in those areas.
