Pediatric Anesthesiologist -- Office-Based (Dental)



Position Overview: Looking for a change from traditional hospital-based practice? Join an anesthesiologist-owned and operated group that prioritizes flexibility, autonomy, and work--life balance. We are seeking a pediatric fellowship--trained anesthesiologist who is passionate about delivering safe, high-quality office-based anesthesia.


This role supports our growing network of pediatric dental offices serving the region outside the greater Columbus area. This is an opportunity to join a well-established, rapidly expanding practice with a strong reputation for excellence and patient safety. Our clinical mix is approximately 95% pediatric dental cases, with a small number of adult dental and oral surgery cases.

What We're Looking For:

  • Pediatric fellowship--trained anesthesiologist with 5+ years of experience
  • Based in Ohio and willing to travel to multiple office locations (occasionally two sites in one day). Travel is typically within a 60 min radius of your location
  • Initial commitment of 1 day per week, with opportunities to expand as your office portfolio grows
  • Comfortable working independently in office-based settings
  • No prior office-based anesthesia experience required---just a willingness to learn
  • Strong skills in IV placement, patient recovery, and pre-/post-operative phone calls
  • Excellent chairside manner; able to collaborate effectively with dentists and staff and confidently manage anxious patients and parents
  • Ability to lift approximately 30 lbs of equipment
  • Comfortable storing, managing, and inventorying assigned equipment and supplies


What We're Offering:

$350/hour Compensation


1099 independent contractor position


  • Typical hours: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM

No nights, call, or major holidays

  • Personal Case Coverage: 100% (Own Cases)


Qualifications:

  • Fellowship Training: Pediatric Anesthesia (required)
  • Subspecialty Expertise: Negotiable (if not fellowship-trained)
  • Board Certification: Required
  • State Licensure: Ohio required; Kentucky licensure is a plus
  • Certifications: ACLS, PALS
