Physician-Only Anesthesia Position 13 Weeks Off Per Year / Sierra Foothills Lifestyle Practice Overview In anticipation of expanding surgical volume, our established, collegial physician-only anesthesia group in Calaveras County, California seeks a fourth anesthesiologist to join our team. Our group provides anesthesia services for a stable, bread-and-butter case mix, including: General Surgery Orthopedics Gynecology (no OB) Interventional Pain (anesthesia-only support for an independent pain specialist) Endoscopy This is a supportive, low-drama practice environment at a critical access hospital with excellent professional autonomy. Schedule & Call We operate on a highly predictable 3 weeks on / 1 week off rotation, anchored to the calendar year for built-in equity. ~ 13 weeks off per year!

Work three weeks (one week with call, two weeks no call) - then one week off Long-call weeks include weekday after-hours and weekend coverage. No clinical duties or call after your work day during off-call weeks (Short Room & Endo/Pain) Even rotation through Long, Short, and Endo/Pain week assignments.
