Winchester Anesthesiologists, Inc. is a 27-member group that has exhibited continual growth. We are looking for full-time physicians to join our strong, stable practice that provides a one-year track to partnership. We offer an $80k signing bonus with 3 year commitment, and up to 12 weeks of vacation.

We have a 40+ year history of providing anesthesia services in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley, surrounded by outdoor sports galore - hiking, skiing, horseback riding, kayaking, fishing. Winchester City offers historical sites, Shenandoah University, vineyards and craft breweries. Great public and private schools and affordable, family-friendly neighborhoods.

Dulles International Airport is an hour away. Washington, DC is 2 hours away. We have an outstanding relationship with Valley Health System and have an exclusive contract with them, including the 500-bed Winchester Medical Center, 5 satellite hospitals and two outpatient surgery centers.

Currently, we are seeking a full-time anesthesiologist due to increasing volume and expansion of services in the fastest growing city of Virginia. The practice provides a large spectrum of anesthesia that includes ortho, neuro, healthy peds, non-OR anesthesia, L&D, and hearts if fellowship-trained. All cases are represented except transplants and complicated pediatrics.

The caseload is approximately 30-70 between personally providing anesthesia and medically directing CRNAs in no more than a 1:4 ratio. Sign on bonus total $80k over 3 years. $30k after starting, $30k at end of first year and then $20k at the 3 year mark. If the physician leaves before this time they must pay back the bonus they received.

Total cash compensation up to $675K total package including excellent benefits worth over $100k/year. Income includes a monthly productivity bonus dependent on number of days worked as well as quarterly bonuses based on productivity of the group. Additionally, the hospital system offers an Attending Faculty Plan investment for taking call which is not included in our compensation package and paid to you at your direction.
