The Department of Anesthesiology at Catholic Health embraces the anesthesia care team approach to patient care, involving anesthesiologists, certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNAs), and anesthesia technicians.
Practicing in a collegial care team model with an attending anesthesiologist, the certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA) will perform safe anesthesia care for all types of surgical procedures for patients across the life span. Surgical services at our Catholic Health facilities include bread and butter cases, with specialties in Bariatrics, ENT including healthy pediatrics, Gastroenterology, General Surgery, OB/GYN, Orthopedics (with a desire for nerve blocking proficiency is preferred), Podiatry and Urology.
