  • The University of New Mexico is currently seeking Anesthesiologist Assistants to join our team at the only Trauma 1 Hospital in New Mexico. UNM Hospital offers a variety of cases including (but not limited to) general surgery, ortho, GYN, oncology, urology, vascular, plastics, robotics, trauma, mobile sites such as GI, pulm lab, cath lab, IR, and an outpatient surgery center. There are also options to work in pediatrics at the only Children's Miracle Network hospital in New Mexico! Further Highlights of this position include:
  • Tiered compensation model increasing with years of experience
  • Shift style scheduling with combination of 8's, 10's and/or 12's.
  • Limited nights, holidays and weekends
  • Optional extra compensation shifts
  • 7 weeks paid vacation/holidays
  • 14 days paid sick leave
  • 4 weeks of paid parental leave
  • $3,000 yearly educational stipend
  • $5,000 paid moving expenses
