The Department of Anesthesiology at Children's Wisconsin and the Medical College of Wisconsin is seeking a BC/BE Pediatric Fellowship-trained Anesthesiologist. The Section of Pediatric Anesthesiology provides care to more than 20,000 children annually in perioperative anesthesia, critical care, and pain medicine settings. This faculty member will join a team of 35 fellowship-trained pediatric anesthesiologists in providing direct patient care, supervision of the care team, and education of medical students, residents, and fellows. Pediatric anesthesiologists practice in a collaborative and supportive environment with world-class surgical and medical staff to provide opportunities for developing clinical excellence in a range of subspecialty services, and are integral in the academic, research, educational, and quality improvement missions of the institutions.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:


  • Eligible for medical licensing in the State of Wisconsin
  • Completion of an ACGME accredited pediatric anesthesiology fellowship or equivalent
  • Board eligible or certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology in Pediatric Anesthesiology; candidates with additional credentials, experience, and subspecialty interests are welcomed

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS


  • Ability to obtain an unrestricted medical license in the state of Wisconsin
  • Board Eligible/Board Certified by the ABP
  • Completed an Adolescent Medicine Fellowship and Board Eligible/Board Certified by the ABP
  • Ability to obtain medical staff membership with core privileges in Pediatrics.
