Great opportunity to work in the Southern California coastal city of Long Beach serving a very diverse patient population. Work in a Level II trauma center and large 453 bed community hospital with a good variety of cases: cardiac, trauma, neuro, vascular, thoracic, regional, NORA, GI. No OB. We also cover a busy surgery center. Large cardiac volume with opportunity to join cardiac panel from day one; which is unique for private MD only practices. Large variety of on pump, off pump, minimally invasive valve cardiac cases. You will also do various Cath Lab cases such as TEVAR, TAVR, Mitraclip, Watchman procedures. You will have plenty of opportunities to do TEEs. Well equipped CVORs and hybrid Cath lab ORs with State-of-the-art equipment. CAA is a large physician only collegial group of anesthesiologists including cardiac, regional, pediatric and OB fellowship trained members. We prioritize work life balance with very flexible call schedules and vacation time. Only 2-year partnership track. Our group is eligible for two student loan forgiveness/repayment options via Federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) and CalHealthCares program through the California Department of Healthcare Services.
