Certified Registered NUrse Anesthetist (CRNA) Privately owned GI Ambulatory Surgery Center is actively seeking full-time and per diem Nurse Anesthetists for a well- respected practice. The CRNA will coordinate and provide patient care to adult patients undergoing Endoscopy procedures in our privately owned ASC. We are seeking individuals who demonstrate the values of our company by caring for our patients like family. We are an amazing team that works hard to help and support each other. We are looking for CRNAs who want to be part of a team that loves what they do and who feels that quality patient care is as important as we do. Company currently has 3 separate facilities within Las Vegas Valley and current applicants will be required to travel based on facility needs. The centers are closed for all major holidays and most weekends. Our full-time CRNAs work Monday-Friday, no holidays. We do open occasionally on Saturdays and those days are offered based on seniority. Fast paced environment and must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Pay and Salary Competative pay negotiated with Medical Director based on education, experience, and full-time vs per diem. All full-time contracts are negotiated between the CRNA and the Medical Director. Job Specific Position Duties: The duties include, but are not limited to the following: Manage patient anesthesia experience, perform preoperative evaluations and preparations, administer monitored anesthesia care, monitor and manage patient reactions to anesthesia. Perform a pre-anesthetic assessment and evaluation of the patient. ay/SalaryDevelop and implement an anesthetic plan of care. Perform an assessment immediately prior to induction of anesthesia of the patient. This shall include a review of the medical record with regard to completeness, pertinent laboratory data, time of administration and dosage of pre-anesthesia medication, together with an appraisal of any changes in the patient's condition from that noted on previous visits. This note shall include any previous anesthetic experiences and complications thereof noted in the medical record. Maintain the patient's physiologic homeostasis and corrects abnormal responses to the anesthesia and/or surgery. Collect and interpret patient physiological data by selecting, applying or inserting noninvasive monitoring modalities. Manage the patient's airway and pulmonary status. Manage the patient's emergence and recovery from anesthesia by maintaining homeostasis, providing relief from pain and anesthesia side effects and preventing and managing complications through selecting, obtaining, ordering and administrating medications or fluids. Record all pertinent events taking place during the introduction of, maintenance of and emergence from anesthesia, including the dosage and duration of all anesthetic agents, other drugs, and intravenous fluids on all patients that have received anesthesia care. PATIENT SENSITIVITY. All licensed health care providers shall provide patients with the utmost care and attention. All patients shall be assured of their privacy and personal dignity. APPEARANCE. Personnel shall present a professional, conservative, and neat appearance. Personnel shall report for duty in a professional manner, in appropriate attire befitting a health care setting. Minimum Qualifications: Education: Master's degree in nursing. Graduate from an academic program approved by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Programs (COA). Experience: Required to demonstrate clinical competency within the past two years in the required clinical discipline Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted CRNA license and Registered Nursing license. Clinical Certification: NBCRNA (National Board for Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists) and AANA (Registered Nurse Anesthetist from the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists) Life Support Certifications: BLS/ACLS Work Schedule: Full time applicants are Monday-Friday, Per Diem are as available. Hours are generally 7am - 2pm. Procedure times could possibly start either earlier or later depending on case load and/or physician. Procedures could possibly extend past 2pm but generally not past 3pm. No major holidays
