Academic Anesthesiologist Department: Anesthesiology, Tulane University School of Medicine Location: LCMC Health System Facilities, New Orleans, LA The Department of Anesthesiology at Tulane University School of Medicine is seeking qualified Anesthesiologists to join its growing clinical and academic team. This faculty position involves providing high-quality clinical care at designated LCMC Health facilities, as well as engaging in the education of medical students and residents. Key Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive anesthesiology services across a range of surgical procedures. Supervise and teach medical students and residents in clinical settings. Participate in departmental meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and collaborative clinical practice models. Qualifications: MD or DO degree Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology Eligible for Louisiana medical licensure Demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence and medical education Compensation and Benefits: Salary: Competitive and commensurate with academic rank and experience Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package offered through Tulane University, including health, dental, retirement plans, tuition waivers for individuals/dependents, and paid sick, vacation, and professional development leave.
