ECAA is expanding our stable and loyal collaboration with ECU Health by taking over anesthesia at several rural sites throughout North Carolina. We understand the complexity of anesthesia at these locations and also understand the rural area. That is why our team has partnered with ECU Health to offer one of the strongest packages in North Carolina. Starting base of nearly $300,000 +call pay +additional post call incentives +signing bonuses. Location: Roanoke-Chowan Hospital in Ahoskie, North Carolina Status: Full-time (exempt) - 12 weeks off per year! 3 weeks on, 1 week off. Salary: High starting base of nearly $300,000 + additional call incentives, high earning potential and up to $100,000 signing bonus w/ 4 year commitment!! Schedule and Call: Monday - Friday 6:30am - 3:30pm. Urgent/emergent cases are performed from 3:00pm - 7:00pm. Call is shared equally and rotated among 4 CRNAs. The CRNA is first call, MD/DO is backup. 3 weeks on, 1 week off format. One more CRNA will complete our team! Overview: ECU Health Roanoke-Chowan Hospital is a 114-bed rural medical center located in Ahoskie, North Carolina. Roanoke-Chowan serves approximately 40,000 patients per year and 200 anesthetics are provided, on average, each month. Roanoke-Chowan has 3 main ORs; cases are mainly bread and butter and include but are not limited to, GS, Ortho, ENT, Ob-Gyn, Eyes, Dental and Healthy Peds. The schedule is shared between two anesthesiologists, in a one week on, one week off format. Surgical cases start at 0700 and end at 1500. Call begins at 1500. First call is shared with the anesthesiologist. The OR is covered by two CRNAs and one anesthesiologist every day, Monday through Friday. The CRNA will be employed by East Carolina Anesthesia Associates, one of the largest anesthesia private practices in North Carolina. The practice is managed and operated by the anesthesiologists that provide services at its various sites across the state. The most beneficial part about this structure is that the incumbent will have significant autonomy, but immediate support when and if needed. Our Eastern teams work collaboratively together to ensure that our CRNAs are comfortably assimilated into their role and within the practice. Ahoskie is a rural town located in the northeastern part of the state and has that "small town charm". This town is great for those that want autonomy in their work and love the outdoors. Ahoskie is an hour from Rocky Mount, Greenville, Roanoke Rapids, and just an hour and a half from the Outerbanks and Virginia Beach shorelines.
