OAG is seeking a pediatric cardiac anesthesiologist to meet our growing needs at Randall Children's Hospital. Located adjacent to Legacy Emanuel Medical Center, Randall Children's Hospital is the largest children's hospital in Oregon and a regional center of pediatric expertise. OAG physicians have a strong culture of support and mentorship for both new graduates and experienced providers. In particular, Randall is an excellent choice for early-career anesthesiologists seeking to develop the skills to manage high acuity pediatric patients. Fellowship training and ABA board eligibility in pediatric anesthesia are required. Legacy Emanuel Medical Center is the flagship hospital of the Legacy Health System. With over 550 beds, advanced services in trauma, intensive care, and burns, and specialists in virtually every field of medicine, Legacy Emanuel is nationally known for its high-quality, cutting-edge care.
Our Dynamic Pediatric Anesthesiology Practice: Our pediatric cardiac anesthesiologists are a vital part of Randall's congenital heart surgery program, as well as members of our general pediatrics group. The congenital heart surgery program is moderate in volume and well-established, with an experienced surgeon performing all types of single- and double-ventricle repairs, (apart from long-term mechanical circulatory support or transplant.) Echo skills are not required but are valued. We seek candidates with leadership skills and willingness to collaborate with other disciplines. We believe our pediatric cardiac team members are among the most versatile, broadly skilled, and well-rounded anesthesiologists anywhere. During their career, partners will actively help shape the Children's Heart Center and OAG as a whole. Our non-cardiac pediatric practice includes complex neonatal surgeries, as well as general, neurosurgical, urological, ENT and orthopedic procedures. We also serve an adult and pediatric Level 1 trauma center, and a busy and innovative interventional cardiology practice (including percutaneous Fontan, micro preemie PDA closure, etc.) Our adult case mix includes general surgery, neurosurgery, vascular, ortho/spine, neurology, urology, OB gynecology, ENT, as well as a large and growing volume of out-of-OR cases for both pediatrics and adults. OB anesthesia is performed by a voluntary team of physician partners. In addition to clinical excellence, our group places a large value on work-life balance and offers flexible scheduling options for our physicians. We understand that life outside of work is important, and we strive to support your personal commitments while ensuring high-quality patient care. Whether you prefer full-time or part-time, our schedulers will work with you to create a schedule that aligns with both your professional goals and important life events outside of the hospital. Join our team and enjoy a rewarding career with the flexibility you need! Expert Anesthesiology. Smart Care. That's OAG.
