West River Anesthesiology Consultants is looking for an anesthesiologist to join an excellent group servicing Western South Dakota in the Black Hills. Our group covers most types of cases except transplants. Special consideration for pediatric fellows or TEE trained individuals. We practice 100% care team model. Our group boasts a fantastic relationship with the hospital and surgical colleagues. There are currently 12 anesthesiologists in our group covering the main hospital, two surgical centers, and a pain clinic. Ultrasound blocks, labor/pain epidurals, central lines, and arterial line placement skills will be needed. We are rarely needed for ICU help, and pain consults are for epidural placement only. If interested, our partnership track is 2 years, during which we offer high level compensation and vacation. Once a partner, 12+ weeks of vacation and up to $800,000 per year is a reality. We also own a portion of a surgical center which has been operating for over two decades. A part-time or permanent employed position is available as well. Rapid City has fantastic access to mountain biking and hiking trails, skiing, hunting, fly fishing and alpine lakes. Rapid City Regional Airport has direct flights to several major metros and is expanding with an additional terminal to be completed in 2026.
