Liver Transplant Anesthesiologist

• BC anesthesiologist with training or prior experience in liver transplantation. Anesthesiologists seeking on the job training are also encouraged to apply.

• TEE certification or willingness to learn.
• Will care for patients undergoing liver transplantation (including live donor transplants) as well as nontransplant surgery in patients with hepatic/biliary disease.
• In addition to the participating on the Liver Transplant Anesthesiology Service, other clinical areas available include a full array of general OR and sub specialty areas including: thoracic, cardiac, vascular, neurological, trauma, OB, regional, ambulatory and critical care anesthesia. Clinical duties can be tailored to individual interests in service, teaching, or scholarly activity.
• The Strong Memorial Hospital Medical Center includes 36 ORs; the only regional Level 1 trauma center; a burn center; the largest medical, surgical, and transplant cardiovascular center in the region; a solid transplant center; the only Children's Hospital in the region, and the regional center for high-risk obstetrics.
