Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Anesthesiologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient safety and high-quality anesthesia care. This role involves providing anesthesia services across various settings, including ambulatory surgery centers and occasional hospital settings within the specified counties. Anesthesiologists perform their own cases, typically a mix of ortho, GI, ophthalmology, urology and other various outpatient procedures. Candidates should be comfortable with fast-paced environments and a familiarity with blocks is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical, diagnostic, or therapeutic procedures.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after anesthesia, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Stay current with advancements in anesthesia practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology.
- Valid Illinois medical license.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Compensation:
- Competitive hourly rate of $300.
