Work Schedule: .75-1.0 FTE, 14, 12, 10 and 8 hour shifts available to provide flexibility. This position requires a bi-weekly time commitment of the shift equivalent of 80 scheduled clinical hours (prorated to FTE) plus additional non-scheduled clinical activities such as preoperative and postoperative assessment, consultation with attending anesthesiologists and non-clinical activities including case presentations, educational sessions, group meetings, administrative responsibilities, etc. Holiday, weekend and night coverage responsibilities are required and pager call may apply at some locations. This position will be assigned a primary work location but must also be willing to work at any of the following locations: University Hospital, American Family Children's Hospital, UW Health at The American Center, Madison Surgery Center, and the Digestive Health Center. Pay: This is a salaried position, with a competitive compensation range recognizing years of relevant professional experience. External hires may be eligible for a sign on bonus up to $75,000. We are seeking a Clinical Anesthetist (CAA or CRNA) to: -Provide anesthesia care to a complex patient population under the medical direction provided by the UW Department of Anesthesiology faculty anesthesiologists. -Work collaboratively with administrative, nursing, physician, and other staff to assure safe, effective, quality patient care and to promote UW Health's educational and research missions. -Work in a Level 1 Trauma Center and academic setting with ample opportunity to contribute to S-AA and SRNA education. Case mix may include: neuro, spines, ortho trauma, ob/gyn surgery, acute general surgery, transplant, plastics, trauma, cath lab, and outpatient surgery. Education: Minimum -- Masters or Doctorate degree from accredited AA program.
