Today, this location spans 13,000 square feet and is staffed by 80 professionals, including long-tenured teammates. I received my BSN from the University of North Carolina At Wilmington and my MSN from University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Blue Ridge Surgery Center has been my home for the last 6 years. Responsibilities

Pre-anesthesia assessment

Obtains and/or verifies patient consent

Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient

Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia

Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition

Performance of clinical intervention as needed

Requirements

Master's Degree from an Accredited Anesthesiologist Assistant Program

Complies with American Academy of Anesthesiologist Assistants licensure guidelines

Must provide Articles of Incorporation for either an "S" Corp or "C" Corp

Must provide own malpractice insurance coverage for full State Limits
