Anesthesiologist - Full-Time Opportunity Stillwater Medical Center - Stillwater, Oklahoma

Are you ready to join one of Oklahoma's premier health care systems? Stillwater Medical is seeking a full-time Anesthesiologist to become part of our exceptional team of 11 anesthesia providers, including 6 CRNAs and 5 Anesthesiologists. This is your chance to practice independently in a state-of-the-art facility while enjoying the support and camaraderie of a truly collaborative team.

Stillwater Medical has been recognized as a Best Place to Work in HealthCare nationally for 14 consecutive years, and once you meet our team, you'll understand why. Our outstanding perioperative oversight team includes dedicated surgery and anesthesia physician leaders who are committed to excellence in patient care and creating an environment where providers thrive.

Your clinical practice will be both diverse and rewarding. You'll work across our new state-of-the-art Surgery and Perioperative Department, Ambulatory Surgery Center, and Women's Health Center, handling a varied case mix that includes obstetrics, gynecology, orthopedics, general surgery, urology, gastroenterology, cardiac catheterization lab procedures, ophthalmology, and ENT cases. We focus on providing comprehensive care while maintaining clear boundaries - we don't perform neurosurgery, cardiothoracic surgery, high-risk obstetrics or high-risk pediatric cases, allowing you to concentrate on your areas of expertise.

You'll perform your own cases with absolutely no CRNA supervision involved - no splitting your attention between multiple rooms and no administrative burden of overseeing other providers. You focus entirely on your own patients and your own cases, giving you clinical autonomy and a direct patient care experience. This is a truly independent practice while still being part of a team that works together seamlessly.

You'll be expected to be proficient in regional and neuraxial blocks, including epidurals, spinals, and peripheral nerve blocks, as these are integral to our patient care approach. Our call schedule is structured so that first call and backup call responsibilities are shared equally among all providers, ensuring everyone contributes to our comprehensive patient care coverage. Call responsibilities are home call with a low call back rate.

To support your professional growth and remove financial barriers, our system reimburses all license and certification expenses, along with a generous compensation (above MGMA median benchmarks), CME allowance, and time off package. This is an opportunity to join what is considered to be one of the best hospitals in the state. We've been named to the Newsweek "World's Best Hospitals" list for five consecutive years and currently hold the highest rank in the state of Oklahoma for patient experience among the six Oklahoma hospitals that have been recognized as World's Best. You'll practice independently while being part of a team dedicated to serving our community and supporting each other.

If you're looking for a place where clinical excellence meets workplace satisfaction, where advanced technology meets collaborative care, and where your professional growth is valued and supported, we'd love to hear from you. Ready to discover why our team members consistently rate us as a best place to work? Contact us today to learn more about this exceptional opportunity to advance your anesthesia career in vibrant Stillwater, Oklahoma.
